80s Radio

80s Radio are a Newcastle based covers band who are sure to keep a smile on your dial and bring your dancing shoes out of the closet! No matter what your occasion, 80s Radio will be sure to give you a night to remember.

There repertoire and performance will keep your eyes and ears glued to the stage, and the dance floor full of all the great moves that should have stayed in the 80s.

Colour Theory

Colour Theory is four-piece rock/pop cover band, founded in 2008 by Lead Guitarist Tim Watson. Based in Newcastle, Tim took on the challenge of assembling a band for a function to be held for charity at the University of Newcastle. The band was assembled and the charity night was a raging success.The band was inundated with more requests to perform and since then have been performing at pubs and various other venues as a solid cover band.

Armed with their shared passion for music the band plays an eclectic range of music. Encompassed mostly, are the genres of rock, pop and acoustic covers. Colour Theory is very aware that each crowd is different and will mix and match set lists on the go to suit the particular audience. The boys have been known to play for 3 and a half hours straight if given the opportunity, and have no trouble playing straight covers to a very proficient level or giving the song a twist of their own, if the occasion calls.

Four on the Floor

If you’re looking for an band that that performs straight ahead rock music, then Four on the Floor is the act for you.
Their no compromise attitude towards good old rock tunes is sure to be appreciated by all who see them. They have grown up with pub rock and you can sense it coursing through their veins.
The boys have made a conscious decision to do what they do best, belt out good old fashion rock ‘n’ roll music. The song list includes tunes from AC/DC, Nickelback, the Angels, Australian Crawl as well as 3 Doors Down and the Radiators. Add to this songs by Greenday, The Rolling stones, Deep Purple, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Powderfinger, it demonstrates the Rock Factor’s ability to cater for those with a taste simply for the best rock music.

After Party

Since forming in Jan 06 “After Party” has quickly been turning a lot of heads.
Featuring three of Australia’s premiere performers, DJ Cotton, Pedro Virgil & Ty Hamilton. “After Party” comprises various styles of RnB, Soul, Hip Hop, Funk, Country, Rock n Roll, and Retro to produce a truly memorable entertainment spectacular! All three members have had a solid base in the music industry with various elements complimenting each others in turn to create the “After Party” sound.
The sound is produced using the latest in audio technology which is woven seamlessly into a heavenly mix of three part vocal harmony, producing a new and fresh sound, while reminding the audience of those yester years gone bye. The three lads are easily recognizable from previous groups such as “DTY” (DJ & Ty) & more recently “3:27” (DJ & Pedro)!

Jam

Jam are a young, talented, exciting, infectious and enthusiastic group who take their ROCK very seriously.
Only recently formed, the members have been rocking Newcastle for years. The members together have over 20 years experience and their performance and musical achievements are a reflection of their professionalism and commitment to the local music scene.
Their set list include songs by artists such as: Blink 182, The Living End, Lenny Kravits, Jet, Greenday, Ataris, Wolfmother, Hunters & Collectors, Incubus, Metallica, Pearl Jam, The Wrights, The Beatles, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Foo Fighters, Brian Adams, Baby Animals, Fuel, Diesel, Stone Temple Pilots and many more.

Shaggy Bottom Boys

Who are the Saggys? – an offshoot from popular trio, the Saggy Bottom Boys- the Saggys feature some of the Hunter’s best known musos. The Saggys originated when Phil Screen, legendary Hunter drummer, heard the Saggy Bottom Boys earlier in 2008. He loved their style of music, their attitudes and the fun and enjoyment their music generated form the audience. One thing led to another, and now Phil has joined the Saggys to create the Saggys band.
So what makes the Saggys unique? The idea for the outfit came from the music in the movie “O brother where art thou”- blue grass, country, hillbilly, and rock combined. The closest comparison would be with legendary bands Far Gone Beauties and Hayseed Dixie.

Service 30

SERVICE 30 are four guys that all share the same interest in playing great music and entertaining people.Service 30 are a truly astounding rock covers band with powerful male lead vocals, impressive rhythm section, gutsy guitar and versatile percussion as well.

They present a quality entertainment show to clubs, pubs and private functions. Covering artists such as, Greenday, The Beatles, Eskimo Joe, Blink 182 and many more.

The Cruisers

The Cruisers are a group of five extremely talented musicians and performers, who have wowed crowds in Newcastle for some time now. They have built up an enviable following with their diverse repertoire and professional delivery and they look forward to entertaining you in the future.
The Cruisers cover songs from the ‘60s through to the present day. A quick glance at their current playlist will confirm that this band is guaranteed to have you on your feet.
They employ some of the latest technology to ensure you, the audience, receive a aurally dynamic performance without the extreme volume usually associated with such performances. Do yourself a favour and get to  a Cruisers gig and see for yourself.

Blackout

Blackout are a sensational 4 piece all male rock band from the local Newcastle Area Their popularity is evident with rebookings at every venue they perform.

Blackout is now even more determined to bring their high energy show to as many people as they can.

With the 4 members all coming from varied musical backgrounds and tastes, the bands set list contains a little something for everybody. Drawing musical influences from every genre of music.

Rubicon

The band is comprised of four of the most experienced and talented musicians in Newcastle, with years spent entertaining Newcastle Crowds in bands such as the Urge, Clockwork, Squeeze, Jazzy Jess and Supergroove.

The band prides itself on its versatility- able to play current dance music, sexy funk and chilled out jazz- with experience in pubs, night clubs, weddings and quiet country venues- this band can entertain any audience, anywhere.

The band is Kristy Nardelli, Damien Clift, Cole Bussey and Mansell Laidler.

Missing Link

Missing Link is a rock covers band playing Sydney and the Central Coast. From the Angels to ZZ top, they play great pub-party music at any venue.

The band comprises of Morrie Robinson on Guitar and Vocals, Steve Sillato on Bass and Vocals and Chris Hatcher on Drums and Backing Vocals.

They have been playing in bands together for over 20 years. They share the same passion for great rock songs and it shows in their song choice and performance.. They know what it takes to make a great night, have their own PA gear and can provide background music before they play.

 Full Circle

Oozing quality and professionalism, Full Circle is the most exciting party band on the Newcastle scene for sometime.

This amazing 4 piece band has the versitility and sophistication of a seven piece stage band and the energy and oomph of a rock band.

Up front is the talented Jessica Lopez on lead vocals, acoustic guitar and sax along with the versitile John McMullen on electric guitar, keys, keytar and vocals. Full Circle has the most experienced and tightest rhythm section, Gary Odd on bass guitar and Johnny Wright on drums.

Full Circle has the versitility to entertain any audience, playing songs from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 00’s and current top 40 hits. Whether it is an appreciating “sit and listen” audience or an energetic dance party crowd, Full Circle knows how to entertain. Full Circle is a working covers band, playing regular gigs at venues such as Harrigans Irish Pub (Pokolbin) and the Kent Hotel (Hamilton).
