At Cardiff RSL, we are the “Pride of the Community” — and that includes embracing and celebrating our vibrant Deaf community. We’re thrilled to extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you!
Our monthly Deaf social group has been a fantastic success, and we’re excited to build on that momentum. Following the incredible achievements of the 2024 Australian Deaf Games, where we proudly hosted the Darts competition, we’re eager to expand our offerings. Whether you’re Deaf, hard of hearing, Deaf-blind, or an Auslan student, there’s a place for you here.
But our welcome doesn’t stop there. We invite family and friends to join us in creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all. Together, we’ll create unforgettable moments and forge lasting connections.

Hunter Deaf Social Club & Hunter Deaf Blind
Monthly socials meet in the lounge areas of the club.
DEAF, HOH, CODA, DEAF-BLIND, AUSLAN STUDENTS – ALL WELCOME
Cardiff RSL is the Pride of the Community, and we are always looking for ways to connect with all of our community groups.
We acknowledge our regular members of the Deaf community who attend the club and have had some of our staff trained in Auslan (Australian Sign Language).
After completing our award-winning Auslan training, we felt privileged to be welcomed into the Deaf community’s world. We learnt that Auslan is more than just another language — it’s a window into a fascinating and rich culture.
We are now confident and comfortable communicating with our regular members and guests who are Deaf or hard of hearing and use Auslan.
